What’s the difference?

There might be a bit of confusion when it comes to using your Adobe Creative Suite, do I create a logo in Illustrator? Photoshop? What is best to create a website design Photoshop or InDesign? To be honest there are a few things you should take in to account when choosing your program.

As listed here, Illustrator is best for files that will be constantly resized as Photoshop is pixel based and InDesign can use work produced from both programs with ease while retaining the best typography settings out of the 3. As a rule of thumb you want to be using Photoshop for creating fixed size imagery, Illustrator for designing objects that will be resized for any number of reasons and InDesign for flyer, brochure and anything that requires good typography control.

Also, Microsoft word can suck it, InDesign 4 life!

Cream of the crop

Cream

Over 20 years later, the Cream brand still uses the same logo pretty much untouched! The 3 propellers are actually 3 droplets of cream as stated here (Source). Mark Farrow is responsible for the design, which isn’t well documented or possibly I wasn’t looking in the right places? I only found out via 2 blog posts from the same person Robin Arnold (Creative director of 22 Manchester).
