The history of visual language explained

After speaking with my lecturer about Semiotics and its vast media, written language came up through the discussion on cave paintings leading onto Hieroglyphics. After wondering about the transition from symbols, glyphs and what we write today, I stumbled across this site with a nice history on how it came together.

Dance music and their logos

I know a designer on facebook who produces work for the Dance community, his work inspired me to rework my initial logo to better suit the pyramid theme originally thought out.

Cream of the crop

Cream

Over 20 years later, the Cream brand still uses the same logo pretty much untouched! The 3 propellers are actually 3 droplets of cream as stated here (Source). Mark Farrow is responsible for the design, which isn’t well documented or possibly I wasn’t looking in the right places? I only found out via 2 blog posts from the same person Robin Arnold (Creative director of 22 Manchester).
